WTS Team Daiwa Zillion 7' M/XF (TDZL701MXB) Rod

Recommended Posts

This rod is in excellent condition, fished a handful of times. It's rated 1/8-5/8oz, and can truly handle the lower end lures. I've thrown 1/8 mini spinnerbaits and TRD's on this. Excellent senko rod, or bubba shot rod. This rod deserves to be fished more but it just sits on my rod rack as I usually power fish with heavier stuff.

$120 TYD shipped in a tackle warehouse cardboard rod tube.

Is that the one with the solid tip, or was that the M/XF Tatula?

This one is solid. That was the Tatula 6’10 M/XF.

I’ll get some pics up in an hour or so and update the post.

those original zillion rods were pretty killer...you never see them for sale!

I actually like the TD Zillion rod over the newer version, but I can't find one in the MH/R blank that I like for the power fishing. The metal lock nut on the new Zillions is kind of annoying.

Yes, it is still available. Also I've gotten some questions about the tip, it is the original. It is not the stainless color that the new Zillions have, but it's more of a gunmetal color. I'm not sure what the material is, but the guides are Fuji SiC. Here is a picture of the tip in natural light.
