strike king cut-r-worm

Featured Replies

I caught 9 bass AND a crappie off this worm in green pumpkin with red flakes, rigged texas  style. This worm has a lot and I mean a lot of tail action when fished  just fast enough to  move it. i think it was the 7 in worm, 3/8 Tunston bullet, and a 4/0 worm hook.

One of my favorite worms, along with the Zoom Ultra Vibe speed worm.

Great thing about Cut-R is that on successive casts, it can be a Senko, a swim bait, a curly tail worm, flipping worm....etc.

Agreed..they all work..I've probably caught the least on swimming it like a swim bait, which is where it should shine the most. But I've caught the majority dragging along the bottom or hopping it in brush piles and laydowns.

What swimming retrieve works best for you guys? Burning, slow rolling?

The vast majority of my hits come from swimming it in 2-6ft with a 3/16 unpegged tungsten weight.

The trick with these is the tail position.

For swimming I hook tail down as Big O, the designer intended.

If you're gonna t rig and present it like any other worm, then tail up.

Some say it doesn't matter...

It does.
