No experience with anything favorite, but I'm thinking of starting a tackle company named Best Ever.

Because?  Guy asked a question what's wrong with that? I personally have no experience with anything favorite either as I believe there are brands I have more confidence in for similar money.  I'm sure someone on here uses them tho and can answer the question honestly

They're a cheap (as in cheaply made) gimmick used by the most obnoxious YouTube "anglers" on the planet to push sales and line their pockets with teenage and/or mom and dad's money - their target audience. Those guys use $100 broomsticks (Favorite rods) with $500 Shimano reels, and that should tell you everything you need to know.

Tackle Advisors' video comparing a $80 Favorite white bird reel to a $40 KastKing reel of almost identical components with recommendation of buying the KastKing over the Favorite...that should tell you something about their quality.

The Flair rod is a Favorite Balance casting rod that has his name and logo on it. Same rod as the regular balance but $20 more. Stick with the regular Balance Rods.

I have the Balance medium light spinning rod and I have come to like it a lot over the last few weeks of using it. It is light, stiff and certainly lives up to the name “balance” Comes with a rod sock. Looks real nice with the EVA foam grips with some cork accents. I would get another one or the casting version if I can find a decent sale.

If your willing to spend 100$ on a rod buy a Dobyns Fury or a Shimano SLX. Favorite is all marketing and no quality.  Reels are even worse than their rods btw

I wouldn't let these guys turn you off. I wouldn't recommend the reels but the rods feel pretty decent and have a bunch to choose from

My "favorite" rod and reel would be my St. Croix Legend Xtreme with a 2500 Stradic Ci4+
