Need help choosing ar 15 scope

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I need your help and feedback.

I'm in the market for a scope for my ar 15. Last 2 days i did research on this sites-

https://scopesman.com/rifle-scope/for-ar15/

https://ioutdoorpursuit.com/best-ar-15-optics-scopes/

https://www.pewpewtactical.com/best-optics-scopes-ar-15/

And finally got the the Bushnell AR Optics FFP as best one. Anyone here used this one before? Any positive or negative sides?

Thanks

I have three of the Bushnell AR Optics 1-4x24's, two are on AR 15s and one on a Remington model 7, 260 deer rifle.  My son liked mine well enough he bought two for AR's he bought for him and his son.

I think they are good scopes for the money, but I've never seen one in a FFP model.  I know all three of mine are SFP.

I do have an Elite Tactical  4.5-18x44 on a custom Model 700, 223 that's FFP but that's a totally different animal than the AR Optics models.

As for recommending a scope, looks like you are doing the right thing and doing some homework.  Just make sure you evaluate the conditions you are going to be using a scope in and fully understand the difference between FFP and SFP or you may not be happy with your purchase.  Under most conditions, I prefer the SFP scopes, and most of my scopes are SFP.

Take a good look at the Vortex Strike Eagle. Super clear glass etched recital spare battery holder. Sight it dead on at 100 and all the hash marks line uo and will take you out to 5 or 600. I forget how many has marks there are. I also added the throw lever to mine and love it. Vortex also has a no B/S warranty.
