New Metanium/Curado 70

Featured Replies

I would think that these are the next shimano reels to be redone, as they have gone 3-3.5 years without an update.  What do you guys think?

70 sized, mgl spool, micro mod brass gears would be awesome.

I don’t think they are going to put the Mgl spool in a 70 for $80 less then the chronarch, but that would be sweet.  I am hoping for a new Met with brass gears.

I wouldn't bet against them doing it.  Only thing is they will update the Chronarch as well and jack the price of it too.  They took a bunch of the tech from higher end spinning reels and put it in the stradic and bumped the price $30.  I'm kind of excited to see what they do with the new releases as the last few years have been very well received.

The Stradic FL is the same price as the FK. The price did not change. Though it may be a while before the street price of the Stradic to reach the street price the FK had.

I wish I had bought an FK when American legacy had them for $130
