Hey guys first time posting but a long time reader on here i was wondering if I could get some help on the color of the lucky johns chuck tail, color was called 017. Ive tried finding them online but i believe they are discontinued. Im just trying to figure out what color you guys think it is or close too because im wanting to get something similar and stumped its sort of gray or smokey brown with gold and dark flakes

Out west we call that color "lightning Shad"; smoke with black, silver and gold flake.

Finding the color in a injection molded single tail grub may be difficult.

That color goes by many names. Tom named one potential option, Sand and Golden Shiner are a couple others you might check.

That sand color is a great color for Smallies on the river. Especially when water gets real Gin clear in August and September from lack of rain. I fish it in a worm with a straight or pointed tail but color wise I like it. 

They call that color "Baitfish"

Looks like Lucky John is a Latvian company and everything I'm finding where you can buy them is in eastern Europe.

Yeah thats all i can find also is the European market. Im going to get some other styles of baits in the sand color and give them a shot thanks again guys
