Has anyone successfully removed their second console?

I’ve put in but never removed.  May I ask you why you want it out?

I really dislike it being there. I'd rather have floor space.

Contact mheichelbeck member (Apl 28) looking for a console to add to a single console boat.

I bought my boat with a removable console and loved it when I took it out.  So much more floor space.  Easy to sit on the deck and tie baits.  Easier to walk around and net a fish in the back of the boat.  When I fish alone it is nice to put rods in the back of the boat and not clutter up the front deck.  Besides protection for your partner and looks, I don't see much of an upside to having the 2nd console.  It was a game-changer for my boat.

Roger that. The boat is being set up to fish the solo series so it's just in the way. I have the use of another boat when the comfort of others is needed.

The boat is a 1988 BassTracker 1800 FS. Anything I cut off the thing will be trashed for sure.

Is it removable?  I'd assume if its not you're gonna make a heck of an eye sore trying to remove it. I dislike em myself but if it were made into the glass and not removable I wouldn't attempt removing it

If you have the money, or the skills, it can be taken out.

It won't be cheap or easy.

Might consider another boat.

Seriously, this is a big job.
