Jika rig for wacky use?

Featured Replies

The frugal in me was wondering if a (homemade) Jika rig with an octopus hook would work the same?  Heavy weights for mag worms and light weights for smaller worms.  Any thoughts?

I do for my wacky rigs if i need to add a little weight. I just use a sinker weight, typically 1/8oz or 1/4oz.

Everybody always trying to sell you something new and expensive these days. Just use any good, appropriately sized jighead you already have in whatever weight you need. Works great most days.

I can cast a weightless 5” Senko WR a lo-o-ng way. If I was fishing in cover so thick I needed weight to get a Senko to sink, I’d think it’s too nasty for a WR.

I usually add weight because of depth, current and or wind.
