i have a 15hp gamefisher motor on my 14ft aluminum boat that i just bought and forgot to ask the guy i bought it from what the gas oil mixture is so i was wandering if any of you might know of point me in the direction where i can find out.thanks

I would guess that it would be 50:1

Never guess at the Oil mixture on a 2 stroke motor.  Post the year, model and serial number and someone will be able to look it up for you.

Or you can look it up yourself with Google!

i recently bought a boat and was wandering if there is a way that i can start my motor without putting it in the lake.i want to make sure it starts and runs good before i make a fool of my self at the lake.i never owned a boat  or launched one so i want to make sure it runs so i dont get it on the lake and it dont start.

Either get yourself some water muffs or a trash can full of water.  It's never a good ideal to start a Outboard out of the water.  Even if it's and air cooled motor, as most of them have their lower leg is water cooled.
