I just wish the locals who like shooting off illegal fireworks would stop...or be stopped.

 

BTW: High today was 75. 84 predicted tomorrow...then the bottom drops out

I'm off yesterday today and tomorrow. Temps for those days are 85, 91 and 94. Back to work Monday tuesday...highs those days are 62 and 50...that's how my life works.

Good Labor Day for all  Wow its getting in 40's at night and the September fishing bite is in full swing. Looks like Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are all gonna be fishing days. Cookouts and Fishing it don't get no better.   Dave

I have to start a project so I will be working.

As with most holidays, I'll be working. Schedule is changing this week though so my days off will line up with most of the holidays this fall and winter.

It's luck of the draw at my job we work rotating 12s...3 days one week 4 the next. 1st week is Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday. 2nd week is Sunday Wednesday Thursday. Some years it works out and some you seem to hit all of them. It's not a big deal to work them since I don't have kids and the perks are nice. Plant manager usually gets us pies, sides and nice meat locker ribeyes to grill. Money wise we get double pay for the full 12 hours and 8 hours of pto in our bank. I always think if they wanna give me a vacation day plus $600 to eat ribeye and pie I'm game.

Going to be staying home doing yard work over the holiday weekend. I’ll head back out on the water Tuesday after the fishing pressure thins a bit.

me, i went fishing today, got skunked, but it's all good because i was out there. yesterday was the best saturday in a loooong time. my sons came over and we had lunch.  my grand daughter was here too, she's 8 yrs old. she painted a picture on my wall in the bedroom.  i will see it every morning when i wake up. i did the yard today, and tomorrow i'm goin on a monster hunt in the am.

Hope everyone has a safe and relaxing weekend. I  had hunting club clean up yesterday and it was like working in a sauna. I was sweating so much the ticks, skeeters, and red bugs were drowning.

Only 107 here on Labor Day..whew...Too hot to fish, or do much of anything today.

85 today - would have been nice for tomorrow...but this is our week to come

Hitting the water in the yak for first time in a month in about a hour. Currently 58 degrees here at 5:30ish. Hoping for a good morning bite . Back to 90s mid week. Good day to you all. 

We got a cool front Friday evening. I caught 10 Saturday, best ***.5 lb. and caught 4 this morning. But I really had to work for the 4 dinks. Better than work though. It was 59 degrees when I hit the water this morning.

Right now (3:00 pm MDT) at my house it is 38 degrees F and it is raining.  We are under a winter storm watch as the rain is supposed to turn to snow about midnight with maybe 3-6 inches of snow predicted.

 

I think summer is over.

I had grilled food Saturday and Sunday and today caught bass crappie bluegill and a turtle on artificial.. It's been a good weekend even though a lil on the warm side today.
