Zoom color availability

Featured Replies

Anyone notice zoom colors has been cut back a little? Maybe its the online stores I visit or something. I was looking for a watermelon red tomato uv craw  that would complement and chili craw bladed jig just right. Just noticed a lot of colors were no longer available.

I have to imagine that, outside of the standby colors that everybody wants all the time, they rotate colors in and out of production on the regular.

The UV Craw page doesn't show a watermelon-red/tomato colorway, but I don't have any idea if the colors listed on the specific lure pages are representative of everything in production for that lure.

However, there's also a page on the website showing regular production/special colors/retired colors. Might help you find what you're looking for.

I have noticed this as well, I was looking for some 6" lizards in cherryseed and have not been able to find them. I did stumble across some in an 8" magnum version but you could tell they were old stock at a local tackle store. Nowhere to be seen on TW.

looks like they have discontinued my 5” lizards in junebug as well ?

You can still get them in 4" and 6" if you don't mind changing sizes.

Hammondsfishing.com has both the 6” cherryseed and the 5” June bug lizards available via their website

ever since the big spotted bass invasion in my neck of the woods the 5” seems to be the right size, and the largemouths tend to like it too. i still have about 10 packs of the junebug left. oh well, that’s life i suppose.

I think stock on items is Covid related. I’m finding the same thing on Zoom colors also. Strike King and Berkley items as well.

Ive worked straight through this pandemic, essential for equipment repairs I’m in. I’ve been lucky. Feel bad for others who want to go to work and being held back. I’m sure mold injection operation for worms, craws and lizards most likely was not essential.

Hope availability picks up.

Not at my local shop, they have three walls about 30' long with nothing but Zoom products, and every color that most can think of!

Zoom runs a lot of custom colors. I do well with this one finesse worm that they call brown. Hard to find. It has a color number I can post later. It just doesn’t show up very often.

Very well could be. Thanks if you looked it up. But I’m dead serious about that color. It’s too simple for things today, that’s why it’s not around anymore. I still have some left.

The site that we're not allowed to mention on here has the best color selection of Zoom products that I've ever seen before. If you search well enough you'll find them :wink7:.

I could only find that color in chunk trailers. Bet it would be good in a finesse worm.

Just to let you know my local shop carries the brown color, they are out of stock at the moment but they have it listed on their website.

Nice! I never look on ebay as I always try to buy local, or at TW. I guess guys selling under the table have made it hard on the local tackle shops to stay open in recent years. I may have to make an exception here. Thanks.
