When to use a weighted wacky hook???

It's a different bait.  I keep little pinch on bullet weights that are probably 1/16 oz. for times when wind kicks up and keeps my senko from sinking.  For wacky jigs, I pretty much never use a senko.  The bait is a thinner finesse worm, and responds better to gentle input to the jig.  A pinch on weight doesn't do the same thing.

Have you tried those jigs that have the circle molded into the hook to hold the bait?  Or do you use the little rubber band deal to attach them to the jig?

I don't want the extra hardware.  I skewer the bait on the hook in the proper fashion. :)

I use o rings personally.

I just picked up some weedless Neko hooks i will probably use when I go weightless. Also I might pick up another pack of weighted wacky jigs in 1/16oz. I have 1/8oz in tungsten and 1/32oz weedless ones but for some reason didnt get any in the middle

I'm a plain ol' bank fisherman.  I have caught bass on weighted whacky's in 2-3 feet of water. When do I use them vs. non-weighted?  Honestly, it's based on what my gut says which is probably not the best way to decide.

I'm bank bound 95% of the time too.

I fish wacky rigs 99% of the time I fish mine weighless and I use a #1 or #2 VMC neko hook with a Jackall Flick Shake. I use heat shrink cut in small pieces instead of o rings and the silicone tubing. Just find the size that fits your worm the best. I have been averaging 25 to 30 a afternoon doing it this way.
