Trolling motor adjustment question (Maxxum)

I have a Minn-Kota Maxxum bow mount trolling motor and was wondering if any members know how to adjust pedal position relative to lower unit position?

Currently, my foot pedal in the neutral position has the boat going to almost 90 degrees to the right when in the neutral (flat) position, I would like pedal's neutral position have the lower unit move the boat in a straight line.

I verified that indicator arrow and light line up with lower unit and played around with tension screw, but can't figure it out

Grab the head and turn it.  The direction that the head is pointing sets your center.  Loosen the knob if it will not turn.

Thanks, that was the ticket my knob was freaking so darn tight I couldn't turn it.  It looks a bit weird though since the motor head is almost at 90 Degree in relation to the lower unit so I doesn't look nice and neat like it used to, but it solved the issue.

I tried to make the head look good and screwed up the peddle that is how I knew. :D

If you're feeling mechanical, you can take the top off the head, disconnect the main drive gear from the shaft gear and align the head that way.  It would solve your head position being way off like that.
