I bought a new zillion suv re reel, i feel they are really incredible performance for the money.  a looking to pair it with a higher end, doesn’t have to be the end app be all, casting rod 

 

i was thinking a st croix avid or lol is GLX, but only have experience with the legend and NRX.

 

would would be your reccomendation for a do it all setup, im lea inc towards a Med Heavy rod. 

 

many ideas as to what would be a good pairing for this reel?

I’ve heard the GLX is amazing 

I just picked up the MBR 903C in IMX Pro and I cant wait to fish it.

 

I like the extra length the 903 over the 843. 

 

just a suggestion. I also went with it as it has a standard Fuji reel seat. A lot of people don't like the trigger position on the custom reel seat of the GLX (check out reviews on Tacklewearhouse. a lot of people hate that seat lol

For me, it's just one number difference - 843C.   The 3 power seems more suitable to be all-purposed. 

843C/844c in whatever Loomis line you choose I have 2 conquest 843c models I love.  One has a new Zillion and the other has a Steez on it.

I was leaning towards the 844 GLX
