Well I coached my first JH softball tournament this weekend. We only played one regular season game going into the tournament. These girls have been working super hard and I'm very proud of them. Ended up going 4-1 in the tournament and brought home 3rd place. Not what we hoped for, but we ran into a really good team in the semis who ended up winning it all.

Awesome man! As a 20 year high school football coach, kids are the best. They keep you young. All that BS about ‘kids these days’ ain’t true. Cuss’em out, coach them hard and love them hard they’re resilient..they love it.

Things around kids have changed..kids are like puppies..they don’t change.

Congrats

Outstanding @jbsoonerfan!!!!

What a great time to be a Dad and a Coach! Enjoy every minute, every inning, every pith. It goes by so fast!

My daughter's played softball (and basketball) through high school. I did not coach, but found my connection with the camera.

Daughter's high school softball Coach was also the basketball Coach...he allowed me total access to the team, and even managed to get me a press pass. What fun and what a run for both my kiddos!

Sitting courtside as they won a state title...what great memories!

The heartbreak of finishing state-runner-up in softball two consecutive years

And the jubilation of winning a state title as a Senior. What fun!!!
