im looking into purchasing an inflatable pontoon boat since a real boat is way out of my price range. i was wondering if anyone had any sugestions on brands, sizes, and things i should look for. i have about 200 dollars and i was looking for a used one on craigslist. ill mainly be fishing calm waters with a little current at times.

A few weeks ago I watched as two grown men got into one of this company's inflatable kayaks. I thought "Here we go, YouTube moment coming up" but to my suprise off they went without a hitch.

I'm looking for a different style. like the one's made by creek company and classic accessories.

Creek has a couple on sale (Cabelas on line) for under 300.00

I have an Outcast Fishcat 9.  That model is out of your price range but I can highly recommend the Outcast brand.  Just make sure you get one that can comfortably hold your weight.  I saw one guy who was getting his butt wet in his pontoon -- that should not happen!   I'm 6'2 and 205 and I sit well up off the water.

Make sure you get yourself some fins.  The ability to paddle with your feet and fish at the same time is a massive advantage over (e.g.) a kayak.  Pontoons are a lot quieter too, and can turn on a dime once you get practiced.
