Buffing Boat

I have fished my boat hard for 5 seasons and have several hook scratches. Can some of you fiberglass men give me directions as to what to use to buff them out? I have a commercial buffer. Need to know type pad and best polishing compound to use.

    A lot of things to consider such as do you have a metalflake finish?
