So I’ve seen the Oneten Special out in the wild and know some folks have had the chance to try it out. How does the new Oneten Special work out? Is it that different than the Oneten Stick?

 

On an aside, I am looking into this to figure out which multipurpose light moving bait rod I want to keep for the kayak. Jerkbait focused but adept with small cranks (3/8 more and less) would be ideal. Also considering:

-Oneten Stick 

-Cyclone

-ZCrank Elseil

-6’9” Valkyrie M+
-6’9” Steez AGS M Universal Light 

 

But mostly just wanting to hear user experience with the Oneten Special. Maybe a bit about how it compares to the others. 

I like the length of the JDM version (5'4" IIRC)...6'11" is too long for my liking.  

Anyone tried Z-crank 1 and 2 sized baits on the last gen or new gen? Trying to figure out if it can pull double duty for light cranks as well as the smaller jerk baits.
