I injured my back at the beginning of last season and wasn't able to continue fishing and despite getting pain injections, it looks like I won't be doing much fishing this year either and doctor bills suck. So, there's no point in me holding onto some of my higher end gear right now, so I'd figured I'd let someone else enjoy them. I've already sold a lot of my gear last winter, but I've held onto these items because they were my absolute favorite of the 30+ rods that I've had. All three of these rods are actually VERY lightly used because I really only got to fish with them one full season, a season that that I fished with over 30+ rods.

Prices include $35 for shipping, full insurance, sign on delivery. Rods will be shipped in the same kind of tube similar to Tackle Warehouse. I've sold lots of rods in the past, including on this site and have never had any problems. Two rods can be combined to save $35. If I have a tube that will fit all 3, you can save $70.

$485 - Shimano+G-Loomis/Conquest 743c - Excellent Condition - The best rod overall rod that I've ever used and I've used A LOT of rods.

$335 - Dobyns Xtasy 723c - Excellent Condition - The best light duty utility rod that I've ever used. It's perfect for worming, ned rigging, and can throw treble hook baits very well. What amazed me the most is how well it throws an 1/8 oz. ned rig. It's also the best looking rod that I've owned.

$285 - Custom X-Ray MB-736c - Very Good Condition - I built this rod myself and I only list it as very good condition because some of the epoxy work isn't 100% perfect, but that doesn't affect the performance in anyway and it's an awesome looking rod, IMO. It also has Torzite guides like the Conquest and Xtasy, plus it has a carbon fiber grip and reel seat.

All reel prices include shipping and insurance. You can save $5 for each additional reel you buy.

$280 - Shimano Metanium (RH) (6.2) - Excellent Condition - Not much usage.

$170 - Shimano Vanford (2500) - Like New - Used less than 5 hours (I hate spinning gear, but just had to have a Vanford)

$120 - Daiwa Tatula CT Type-R (LH) (7.3) - Excellent Condition - Very little use at all, just couldn't get use to a left handed reel.

$140 - Shimano SLX DC (RH) (7.2) - Excellent Condition - More use than those above, but still not a lot of usage compared to my other reels.

$110 - Shimano XT (RH) (6.3) - Very Good Condition - I used this for crank baiting, which is something I ended up doing a lot of after I got this real about 3 years ago. It's had about a full season of good use, but is still in very good condition with just a few slight cosmetic imperfections that are barely noticeable unless you hunt for them.

OTHER FISHING STUFF - (Prices include shipping.)

$35 - Cal Coast Rod Mule - I've only used this three times, because I don't have a boat and usually only take a limited number of rods with me so I used a smaller bag. I have loaded it up with 10 rods with reels on them, 8 baitcasters and 2 spinning rods and they did fit, although I wouldn't recommend carrying that many if the reels are attached. If you're not sure what this is, https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Cal_Coast_Fishing_Rod_Mule_Rod_Carrying_System/descpage-CCFRM.html

$300 - GoPro Hero 8 + 5 Batteries + 128 GB SD Card + GoPro 8 Floaty + Power Bank + Head Strap + Charger

Works like it should. It has a few small cosmetic imperfections. One battery is starting to swell up and probably won't last much longer from me running it 10 hours in the hot sun. I bought the Floaty ($30) to go over it because I lost my previous GoPro at the bottom of a lake. The power bank is around 5,000 mah, I can't quite remember and it's packed up already, but it's not a huge one. IMO, the head strap or hat clip is the best way vantage point to record.

I haven't uploaded any pics yet, because it's hard enough to sit at my desktop to post this as it is and my pics would need shrunk down before I posted them and I would still only be able to post so many a day due to the limits on this site. Everything looks like it should, the thing that needs a pic the most is the custom x-ray. I will get pics up as soon as I can, but if you're interested before then and want some pics, PM me.

For the record, I'm only keeping two of my bass setups, I've sold 30+ now, mainly because of my back injury. :(

Tatula rod and Tatula SV reel.

Custom Phenix X-10 and Shimano SLX MGL

Thanks for the kind words. I hope to be able to get out this weekend and try to get a few casts in and see how it is. The main problem is that I can't sit for more than 20 minutes which makes kayaking impossible. I had just got a new kayak, Garmin 93sv, Dakota Lithium 18aH battery, new paddle, kayak cart, net, and was only able to go on two short test runs to test out the fish finder before I hurt my back. So I'm likely also going to have sell a lot of that eventually.

I'm very sorry it took me this long to respond. I expected notification of any replies to come through my email just like with pm's. I never received anything so I assumed there were no replies. If I was on my desktop I would've checked the site everyday, but still getting used to being regulated to my phone.

Yes, it's yours if you want it, just send me a PM.

Sorry for the late response, please read my reply above for an explanation.

I haven't been on the site long enough to send a PM.  If you could send me one, I'm still interested in the Vanford.  Thanks!

how is your back?  i am glad that Met sold. it was causing me fits.

It's been better since I had the nerves burnt off 2 months ago. I've been able to Kayak the river a handful of times and caught around 50 smallies. Still can't go often or for very long, but it's better than nothing.

let me know if you start parting out that kayak of yours.

trying hard not to be vulturous.

I've been using my old Kayak for the rivers. I am going to sell the Ctug cart, but not sure if it worth it to ship. I'll be selling my Garmin 93sv as soon as I figure out what's wrong with the transducer. Garmin is waiting for me to get it back on the water to troubleshoot before they'll decide to replace it. I also have a 18ah Dakota Lithium battery I want to sell but doubt I can ship it. All that has been used 3 times.
