Anybody have an experienced opinion on the Shimano World Pop yet?

Yes, it's exactly like all the other Flashboost baits, magic in a box.

Most certainly my favorite popper, but I'm not a huge popper guy.  I know this is the only one I need going foward though.

PopMax and Pop X are my favorite (i consider the PopX just a down sized max).

I'm really hoping for good things with the Shimano though.  It seems to be an attractor but haven't gotten any hits on it yet.  Lots of follows and fish staring.

Work that sucker faster if you are getting followers on it.

My favorite popper is actually the one that you broke off the giant bass on!

Can't really say enough good things about the storm.  Casts good.  Walks good.  I can buy 3 colors for the price of one megabass pop max.

Bass eat em.

Buy some more Storm poppers!

i have had the best days with a Pop-X.  i bought a few PopMax, but have yet to throw them often.  they cast a mile!!  i am ready for a Delta Striper fest.

i own a Berkeley that is fishless.  nothing!!  not sure it is even in my box anymore.

I have one that is also fishless .... a Lobina Rico's. I had one years ago and the paint was almost gone. I caught some fish on it but it was due to be replaced.  The new one, which looks exactly like the old one, has been a dud. Can't figure it out.

Another one that has been good for me is the DUO REALIS Popper 64 in the color Prawn.

Nothing wrong with using a saltwater popper for bass. I would consider size but with Mexican bass probably not an issue. Just replace the big silver galvanized hooks. I use some poppers called Stillwater, made for saltwater but they have caught me many bass. And stripers.

Mexican bass love Yellow Magic in the magnum size 1/2 oz. I also heard a rumor that spro popping frogs work well down there cast right on the bank.

Chug bug or Pop R

I really don’t have a favorite, as long as it silver sides, with blue or black top. I’ve had expensive ones to cheap ones. They just catch fish, from when your twitch, twitch pause, to hard pulls where you’re splashing over the trees. When they are hitting them it sure is fun.

Heddon Pop-R was modified by Zell Roland and the Japanese perfective the faster spitting design.

The Splash-It incorporates all the designs plus Owner feather hooks.

Just to avoid any confusion, the Pop R was made by Rebel, not Heddon

I've had some success with the megabass pop max.  I hate to admit it because of all the hate the brand gets, but I have a black googan blooper that bass just absolutely crush.  Im sure its ripping off another more storied model, but the compact size and easy walking seem to righteously tick off fish, and it's cheap enough that I dont cry if I send one off into a tree.
