Hi, I'm going for a week in the new year in the Amazon for Peacock and wondered what an appropriate tip would for a guide ?  thx 

 

We tipped a minimum of $250 The day I caught the 22lber I gave him a $100 when we got back to the boat

Generally $20 per person, per day.

i am going in a few weeks (!).  i hate guessing and asked the main dude, what is a typical tip.

 

he told me they typically see $400 in an envelope at the end of the trip.  he divides it up.    i already have the envelope!!  :D.  i put a few $20 on the side if anyone helps me land a 20+, or i break something
