Frisbie385
Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone had any of the Evolution Grass Burner BuzzBaits they would like to part ways with? Shoot me a message if so. On a side note. Anyone have any idea why these are no longer available? I assume the company went out of business. Kirtley Howe
I can't find any info on the company. However there is one listing for that bait on Ebay...they "only" want $100.00 for it.
Kirtley Howe
After further research I found the company (Evolution Baits, NOT Evolution Lures) was founded in 2016. They made several different lures, but their primary lure was the buzzbait. They used to be sold at BassPro, Cabalas, Tackle Warehouse, and a number of "select" dealers like Willow Creek Baits. Willow Creek Baits still list them on their website, but show them as out of stock, with no potential back in stock date. Bass Pro et. all no longer even list them. Evolution Baits website is still up, but appears to be inactive/abandoned. Evolution LURES is a saltwater lure company that was founded in 2001, and is still very much active in that market, but has no connection to Evolution Baits. I did find listings for sinkers with the Evolution Bait name attached, but do not know if that is the same company that made the buzzbaits. I also found a listing for a buzzbait that seems similar to the Grassburner. It is listed on Amazon as the Dragon Buzzbait. It sells for around $25.00 plus shipping and is an imported lure. You may want to check it out. I hope this helps......

Kirtley Howe
I went back thru the links I used to find the Dragon Buzzbaits.....but it seems that the links now dead end. I cannot find a working link to them anymore. They no longer show up on Amazon or Walmart.com. I did find a different Dragon Buzzbait, that is made in America, but it is the typical style buzzbait with the large front buzz blade and a small "tickler" blade the hits on the wire frame to create a clicking sound....but it not even close to the Evolution buzzbait or the Dragon Buzzbait I found earlier. Sorry I can't be of more help.
BASS302
A search found: https://www.coyotebaitsales.com/evolution-baits-grass-burner-buzzbaits/ but they are $19.49. I've never bought anything from them so can't give any more info. Are they "worth" that much?
Kirtley Howe
They listed for around $15 to $25, so yeah that is a reasonable price. But do they actually have them in stock? Everyplace I found that listed them showed them as out of stock, and no indication they will ever be back in stock.
