Super User NorthernBasser Posted August 14 Super User Share Posted August 14 I love black and blue/green pumpkin-colored baits so much, I figured this deserved a thread. It's called No Brainer, and it's offered in a handful of Strike King's soft plastics.

Texas Flood
It seems like alot more companies are doing the black-blue/green pumpkin colors. Reaction Innovations has a color called tramp stamp that I've been using for awhile.

I love the smaller flake. Call me crazy, but I feel like it makes a difference with my finicky fish.
Pat Brown
I've been using this color but the Berkley version forever and ever and ever. Pairs really good with @Siebert Outdoors swamp monster skirt! 😉😉😉 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
MediumMouthBass
Those colors are really nice, next step up is Strike Kings Okeechobee craw. Takes the blue to a whole other level.

Super User Spankey Posted August 15 Super User Share Posted August 15 I fish a Zman TRD craw that’s a TW exclusive, same color.
GetFishorDieTryin
TW has that exclusive color with a bunch of different companies, Roboworm, XZone, Zman and im sure there are more I dont use. For me its kind of like a safe color, especially if its a trailer.
Super User Spankey Posted August 16 Super User Share Posted August 16 I see where XZone has a new 3” creature and a 2 1/2” craw out for this year. That color is standard color for them. I’ll have a few packs of them for next season if not sooner. Both of those baits are a style I’m always fishing. I feel good about the bait and every color pattern they have available for them. buckmaster27012
with the black blue/green pumpkin color whats opinion on solely using that for trailers instead of keeping one of each color. i see alot of people already use green pumpkin on back of black/blue jigs already. It's not our opinion that matters. It's the opinion of the slimy green fish you intend to catch semi regularly with said color. Maybe buy a pack and see how this strategy works out for you on your fishery? 😉👍🏻
