why are baitcasters so pretty

Featured Replies

well i got another one to add to my arsenal.  The new guy on the block is curado 200 dhsv.  i decided to buy this cause of the nice colors lol.  jokin aside, i plan to use this as a worm/jerkbait/any other suitable plastics set up.  im gonna go try to match it up with a rod today.  if any one has any suggestions on other techniques this reel should be used for i wouldnt mind the suggestion.  just for fyi purposes, the count is now 2-2 daiwa and shimano lol.

Why are they so pretty? It's a baitmonkey tactic, he got you didn't he? :o

Seriously, I don't think there is any freshwater fishing you can't do with a 200 series Curado. Great reel.

well, i decided to spool the curado with 14# fluro and stuck it on a team daiwa tierra heay 6'6" i believe fast action rod.  what do you all think?

the 200DHSV is a great reel.  I have 2 of them i use for topwater and spinnerbait setup's.  And i will probably be buying another one for flippin/pitchin.  I am a big fan of the high speed reels.  As for your question, i dont know why they are so pretty??!!  Its kind of like boats ( i am currently shopping for one)!

OOOHHHH, The Colooorrrrssss!!!

After Raul spark my interest of such knowledge, I am under a self tutored apprenticeship to learn more about the colorful limited edition reel types.I am guessing the top picture is a Daiwa Megabass Ito reel and I think the second picture is a Daiwa TD-Z.The 3rd is Shimano Sephia. :-/ Ivan
