East Texas cold front turned em on!

This was Sunday, with the day starting 71 n ending up 21 overnight.  The colder it got and the harder the wind blew, the better they bit!  Shallow cranking ended up being the deal by far.  I bet they bit even better the last 2 days in the snow, but I'm getting too old and soft to find out I guess...

btw @Tom_Redington - which two 36v Millertechs are you running ?

The 50 amp or the 60 amp ?

Are you also using 2 Dual purpose starting batteries ?

I have 2 of the 36V 60 amp ones.  A single cranking battery, but it is their big one, 190 AH if i recall correctly, so it's like 2.  I fished a couple weeks ago for 5 days and never plugged it in once (don't have a Power Pole charge either).  Lowest battery was at 60% at the end of the week.  Just a few years ago we couldn't get thru a single windy day on a set of batteries.  Progress!
