I use this a lot. From 0-9 it has literally caught 100's of fish for me.

If so, when do use the silent vs the rattle?

 

Clear water? Highly pressured?

I usually start with silent cranks. If I am getting little or no action from the fish, I switch to rattling cranks. If I am fishing very muddy water, I start with the rattling cranks.
