Does anyone have any input on All Star's Platinum series of rods?  Looking into picking either a St. Croix Avid or an All Star Platinum series and was just wondering if anyone had any advice on their experiences with either one.  Thanks guys...

    I'd go for the All Star Platinum.  I have a couple, as well as the older "T40X" rods.  Something about the action and anatomical grip that I just dig.

    Yes they did and last time I checked, they lowered the price.

    I have both product lines (Platinum and Titanium) and I can

    not really tell any difference. They are both pretty sweet.
