Hank Parker ever so gracious…

Featured Replies

Anglers choice had their open store boat show today. There were a few pros there and of course Hank Parker. ( He gets his Ranger boat there) My Wife was with me and from a distance I pointed him out and told her how famous he was in the bass fishing world. So we walked around and visited a couple places and we had to go by him. And he was talking with some people, and we simply asked them to move Politely which they did.

At which he had said hello to My Wife and My Wife said I know you from somewhere and before he could say anything she quickly said from a most wanted poster. He started laughing and was so kind and polite to My Wife and got a big kick out of that. Again, My Wife had no idea who he was but I did so we talked for a few minutes and he was very, kind and gracious with us. Anyway I just wanted to share that story with you today.

It was great meeting Hank Parker but the best part was hearing my name called for winning the door prize. But even better then that was being there with my wife at my side. Have a blessed weekend.

Always been a fan of Hank, his most famous line, "put them on the scales Dewey". Glad you had a good time at the boat show!!!

Back in the day his show was by far my favorite show to watch. His kids were so polite and respectful. I wonder what they are doing today???

Hank Parker always seemed like a genuine kind hearted person. Seems like a good guy.

He was the reason I used a pistol grip 5’6” rod for them “spinnerbugs
