Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

Did you know that in Ontario's Fisheries Management Zone 18, the bass season (both Largemouth and Smallmouth) runs from the third Saturday in June to December 15. This area covers southeastern Ontario, including the Rideau waterway and surrounding rivers ?

Fishing for out-of-season species there is illegal, even for catch-and-release.

I know. i just want to see if anyone has any zone 18 fishing spots to share.

I have no intentions of any bass fishing until June 20. I fish following all FMZ 18 laws, and all the Ontario fishing regulations.

Move over to zone 20 & fish for smallies in the St Lawrence. Special catch & release season Jan 1 to May 10th.

Thanks. I will fish in the St Lawrence for some smallmouth bass. Do you have any lure suggestions?
