A buddy and I are building 6" PVC rod cases to tie onto ladder racks for when we haul the boat and gear some distance. I've got a crew cab canyon and the bed is too short for rods. I'm curious about any creative methods or cool accessories that you use to haul your gear.

I have a Flambeau Bazooka rod case that is great for airtravel and can be secured to my roof rack for land travel. It holds 6-8 rods, reels detached.
