Bass Pro Shops Bionic Plus Baitcast reel....

Featured Replies

Hey all...

I was at BPS Foxboro MA last night looking for an inexpensive baitcaster. I explained to the clerk what I was looking for and after the reel clerk jerked me around for 15 minutes, he finally showed me the Bionic Plus reel, which comes in left handed. He "forgot" it was on special for $39.99 down from $59.99.

It's not a "top-line" reel, but quite nice for $39.99 and comes in LH, which I know a lot of members are looking for. Don't know if your local BPS is offering the same deal (or the website), but I thought I'd just pass along the info. to others like me not ready (Yet!!) for the $200-$300 reels.  :(

Hope it helps someone.

My buddy uses this reel and really likes it.  i cast it a few times and for the money seemed like a nice reel.
