Ordered the LTX in 6'9" MH casting & 7' Med spinning from Cabelas a couple weeks ago at the Hammond, IN store.

Haven't heard anything from Cabelas so I called them & customer service says that they "should" be getting a shipment of Carrot Stix by 4/11.  Oh great a month of waiting to get these rods, I just hope it's worth the wait.

I'm almost tempted to cancel the order & get something else, but what???  I guess I'll wait till mid April & see if Cabelas can deliver, if not then I'll look at other rods, or somehow get my money back.

Shheeeshh, all this waiting for a couple rods...

You should have ordered from Simmons Sporting Goods in AL. Free shipping, and at your door in 3 days. Can't say enough good about them. I got my two Carrot Stix and Revo SX from them.

Delos also has them in stock but you have to pay a rod packing fee.

Your frustration should be directed at Cabela's not the Carrot Stick.  I also have received two(one for me and one for a buddy) from Simmons in 2 days from order date.  Good news is i'm almost certain that you will love the rod when you get it.
