With all of the reel-deals going on, I am re-thinking the Abu 4600 C3 purchase for my next crankbait reel.  What about the quantum Energry PT or Shimano Citica 200 DVP both in 5.X ratio?  Both the Energy and Citica are around $100.00 after rebate.

What I am looking for is a reel that will have no issues throwing 1/4 or larger crankbaits.

Cant beat the Citicas and Curados for the price they are at right now with the rebate!!!! I have both and love em

4600C3,s are perfect same as what i use for my crankbait reels  add 10 lb big game and im wired

Keep an eye on eBay for the original Calcutta 200. Beats the pants off of any round reel out there.

Can be had for $60-100 depending on the condition of the reel.
