on my citica 200D, when i open the side plate, i can just grab the spool and pull it right out.

when i open the sideplate of the 100DSV, i can grab the spool, but it doesnt come out?

how do i remove the spool?

Just use a little muscle, it sort of snaps in, push out with your fingers where you spool the line so you dont end up tearing up your brakes

on the 200, it just slides right out, so i didnt want to force it out of the 100, for fear of damaging it, but i guess thats what ya gotta do.

you can also take the cast control cap off and, using your index finger, depress the spool shaft...it'll pop right out.

you don't have to but, imo, it makes it easier.

The 100's have a spool shaft clip in them.#2024 on the schematic..

I always remove the cast control knob then the plastic washer,then the clip,and then another plastic washer(look how they are positioned)
