photochromic sunglasses?

Featured Replies

My current pair of shades are a little too dark for low light conditions so I am mulling over a new pair.  I dont want to be swapping lenses or glasses all day so I was thinking about going photochromic - anyone have a pair and have any input on how well it works?  Brand/model would be nice, thx!

i had a pair i absolutly loved .... they where the smith action optics ,,, shelters .... i had the photo chromic pair and they where killer ..... they cost 109 but worth every penny ... look them up you wont be sorry .... i had the copper lense  brown frame .....  ;D

is photocromic mean that they change when they get in more sunlight? cuz if so my perscription glasses are that (i call em transitions) and they are pretty tight. they definitley do adjust to changing light. like when im fishing, the shade from my hat will cause the top half of the glasses to be lighter than the bottom. and the pretty much keep it at a constant brightness when outside.
