I've been looking to purchase one of these rods.  Which one would be better suited for my needs?   I fish mainly shallower cranks 10 ft of water or less and lipless cranks in hydrilla.  I usually throw a lot of RC 1.5's or 1/2 oz lipless cranks. I have been leaning towards the 843 any help?

i went through the same thing the cbr843 is very wimpy imo get th cbr845 i have it.. Its got the perfect action and can chuck a 1/2oz bait perfect.. ;D

for those weights, i would go for the 845.

it will handle 90% of the cranks you'll ever throw.

As others have said, get the 845. The 843 does have a place, but I don't throw anything over 3/8oz with it.
