Any have any experience good or bad with Maxima fishing line.  Especially florocarbon or hybrid.

I've used the Fluorocarbon as leader material when using superlines. Good stuff. As far as spooling up a reel with it by itself, I don't know. Standard mono Maxima was my go-to mono for spinning reels for years until superlines came out on the market.

I use the maxima ultra green for leaders instead of florocarbon. Extremely strong and abrasion resistant. Ties up knots much better than fc without burning and is almost as invisible as fc.

Yet another thumbs up for Maxima Ultragreen. I use different sizes but my favorite would have to be the 5 pound for split shotting. I learned about that size from the inventor of split shotting and a great man, Dick Trask.
