Just getting into using a swim jig.  What kind of rod do you use?  What kind of blank do you like? Length, action, tip , etc.  Thanks. 

Powell makes a sick swim jig rod, there is a *** version and a regular version both have lifetime warranties.  They have a swim jig video with Jared Lintner and they show the model.

Fast to XF, MH (8-17lb), 6-6 or 7ft, coupled with a fast retrieve reel.

I use a swim jig on my spinnerbait rod.  They're both pretty much used for the same reasons, but I like using the swim jig when I want a bigger profile or present a different offering to the bass.

I use a 7ft med-heavy, fast rod. Pick your favorit brand.
