Where do i lube this reel up? It's lightly used as ive mainly been fishing little streams for trout lately. I have no money for the hotsauce so what do i use and where? I see no lube anywhere i look when i remove the spool and sidecover. Good or bad? If its just supposed to be lubed internally then its fine, if not then yeah...

Basically, gears get grease and bearings and levelwind get oil. The reel should be stripped and thoroughly cleaned at least annually. Are you having problems with the reel? If it's new and lightly used you should be OK for a while.

I don't know if i have the courage to disassemble it. I've had it for years but only used it a number of times. I mainly used my shimano spinner and diawa baitcaster. I want to use the quantum, but like i said, i saw no visible grease so i didn't want to ruin anything.
