I'm planning buy this rod, for fishing deep, cover, c-rigs, and some frogging, any advice for the reel ?

How does the CTE100GT perform with 8 lb. mono?  Or is 8 lb. a bit too light for this type of reel?  Thanks.

I've been tossing cranks on 8lb mono with this reel, and it has performed beautifully.

Thank you everybody, for the advics, the only of those reels that I ave used is the Curado 200E7, but I'll study all the options.
