I heartily recommend.................

The Lamiglas XL703S for a dropshot rod.  Had a chance to use mine for the first time this morning and a couple of 3 pounders cooperated in 16' of water.  Stuck on an old Shimano Aero 2000 I had laying around with 10lb SilverThread line.  The action is perfect IMO, and at that price point would be hard to beat.

I don't have this rod, I do however have it in casting and I use it for jerks and cranks.  I have used it for flick shake too, it is my favorite rod.

Here here!

Excellent rod for light cranks/jerk baits in rivers too!

Sweet.   I have the 702 for my drop shot and the 703 for tubes and grubs. It was hard to set down my 701TN ( Tennesee handle ) as my drop shot rod but the Excel balances out so well.  Time for a garage sale.
