Next weekend the 18th, 19th and 20th we're fishing our club classic at TB, staying at the old Driftwood. I'm concerned that all the launchs won't be open due to low water.. Hopefully someone can help us with info on what launchs are open and safe.............Thanks.......Mike 8-)

I fished out of Grapevine Landing every year the first week in March from 1972 until 1990. Had one bad year and that was 1990. DNR killed the weeds. Couldn't get my brother to go back. In 1987 I camped 6 weeks at Grapevine, mid Feb until 9th of April. Had the locals asking me what the fish were doing. I hope to fish "The Big Pond" at least one more time before I die.

All I ever heard it called by the locals was Grapevine Landing Catt. Had 2, two holers, a couple of picnic tables and you had to Bring the rest. First fish I caught there was a 7lb12oz. At the time my PB. My brother got to know some pipeline welders and they invited us to come down there from KY to camp and fish. We had many great times there.

I don't remember Kelly, the problem I have is I learned Toledo by water not by land & there are still places I can't get to by land. Then there are so many places called one thing by locals & something else on maps.

I will be at the Bend 17-20th!! I heard the same thing about the water levels. Were staying on the north side National Park... I guess we will have to drive around to launch... :/
