Mosquito Lake, Ohio

Featured Replies

rat-l-traps  infront of the many many coves. also flippin tubes in  shallow brush

If you are coming up here and know anything about buckeye or rocky fork i would be willing to share some info with u my friend!

my distant cousin has a house just a block or two from that lake   i caught my biggest bass out of the lake   7-04 of something like that   by the riprap just outside the launch

The ODNR will make the rip rap outside the launch and the dam off-limits because of the boating traffic. I am fishing there April 6 and can fill you in on the water levels which mean everything on this lake. Judging from the heavy snowmelt and rains it should be near full pool. Generally it is a long rectangular shaped dish with very little off shore structure. Plan on flippin.

You can't beat a black jig with a red crawbug trailer. Are you fishing the weekend series there at all?

I'm fishing the federation tournaments and the Ohio BFL as well as the Bassmaster Opens as a co-angler. I've thought about doing some weekend series but I couldn't do them all so not sure about it. I've never done a weekend series event before and would like to see what there like.
