Sorry for another question about a bait, but I've been searching through BPS during this Fishing Classic and seeing some stuff that looks interesting. Any opinions or comments about the Mimic Minnow? Thanks.

i bought a few of them a year ago but almost never use them. they might be a good bait but my lake has a ton of small pike that won't let that type of bait stay in the water

Its a great lure for crappie, walleye, and salmonoids off of the pier. It catches tons of fish, but i have never fished with it exclusivley for bass. One way i love to fish it is to put a beetle spin type arm on it, but replace the tiny colorado blade with a mid sized willow leaf blade. Its a killer in clear water and seems to be a little more snagless than a traditional spinnerbait

I use them for walleye, and pike.
