I read in Clark's that there are tournaments in the Connecticut river every weekend in the summer. I have a summer in camp in Warren, NH which is pretty close to the Connecticut river in Haverhill, NH... which is where the tournaments are I think.

I was wondering if anyone has participated in these tournaments?

I think it would be great to enter tournaments with my son and we are at camp every weekend all summer so I was hoping you guys might have some info on this???

the river is a good tournament location in Hartford and Haddam CT.

It has something for everyone.  Great for multiple small or large tourneys.  I fish 3 events a year on the river and I think there are events every weekend here too although many are not Opens.

Try talking to local bait shops to find events that are suitable to you.

Online is not always the best way because many trails are not advertised
