Mattlures Baby Bass

Featured Replies

I was wanting to buy one of these but the heaviest rod i got is a 6'6" MH with 17 lb line on it.  Could this handle it? Its rated for 1 ounce and i think the baby bass is like 1.3 ounces.

Although your rod is not ideal it will still work fine. My baby bass is small and it fishes small. The lead inside is only a 1/2 ounce the rest of the weight comes from the plastic. Your rod wouldnt work that great for my gill though.
