is it possible to float a canoe or kayak south from the bridge on 28 all the way down to bull run marina? i saw a few ponds towards the end on google maps that might be worth a visit. also, how is the fishing on the creek?

Its possible.  I think its something like 9 miles though.  So give yourself some time.

i know theres quite a few places you have to gt out and move over laydowns / shallow water, but im definatly up for it later this spring

I have no idea about a float trip down Bull Run but there are some decent smallmouth in there.

Just keep your eyes open. You never know what your gonna come across.
