ANY TIPS FOR TIMS FORD?

I am on Tennessee Tech University's fishing team and we have an upcoming tournament on December 12th on Tims Ford. I have never fished the lake before and have never really fished deep clear lakes like Tims. If anybody has any information to point me in a certain direction it would be more than appreciated. Anything will help!!!!
