Mudkart, I am very jealous.  Was it local??  I hate playing 20 questions........... please tell us!!

What isn't frozen, I have a new Dobyns glass 705 that I wanna try out!!

I'm looking at purchasing that same rod.  Any chance you'd  let me sling it a few times?  Once it warms up a little let's get together.  I have an assortment of Loomis rods you could try out if you'd like...

No SoccPlayer07, I've been around, just haven't posted much. My fishing partner moved to Texas the day after Christmas. Nobody to talk fishing to in person, so I'm posting more now. I'm a local NOVA guy who fishes the Potomac and Occ river quite often. My main stage is Fountainhead from d**n to splits to Top of Bull run or Occ Creek. I'm a member of NHBA and have every Monay off, I also own a boat. PM me if you'd like, I look forward to meeting you guys.

NovaAngler, that sounds like a good idea, I'd like to cast a G-Loomis. PM me if you'd like.

sweet man. i fish the occ. (fountainhead) tourneys sometimes as well as another member here. we'll have to get out sometime. I mainly fish out of pohick now.

Just a heads up for anyone who cares.  I was flying into Dulles from Orlando today and we went over the Potomac.  Pretty cool seeing it from the air like that (besides satellite imagery) but anyways all the creeks appeared to be iced over but the main river was free.  I had planned to get out and do some scouting and maybe a little fishing but I guess that will have to wait.  They are predicting some days in the 40's next week but I dont know if that will be enough to melt it.  What do you guys think?

I've been a member of NHBA for the last two years.  I only fished one club tournament (Gaston) this past year because I started fishing the LAPR Tournaments.  How long have you been a member?  Once the weather warms up a little let's make plans to get out.
