Well, it's 02:30 and it's actually THUNDERING and LIGHTENING over San Diego!!! Geez, and I thought I'd have to wait until I got back to Indiana in July to experience that again! I've lived here since 1968 and can only recall a handful of times we've had thunderstorms around here (I know they get them in the mountains East of here all the time). Sure hope my St. Bernards don't go bonkers!!)

Wow, sounds like you've got a nice storm over there. We get those all the time in New England.  

We had something a little unusual a couple months ago........Thunder Snow. It happens every once in a while, but not often.

It was quite cool though.

Yesterday, we had thunder/lightning,....during the day,......while it was snowing.

Now that's trippy.

Lightning during the day is really weird,...it's like an exaggerated "Blink".  Your brain stumbles on what it just took in.

In South Carolina, in the summer storms come out of nowhere, Then just as suddenly as they appear they go away.
